When and with whom do we share your personal details?

Individuals signed up to receive marketing material:

Armstrong Webb Ltd will always keep your personal data within the European Economic Area (EEA).

 

For clients:

Armstrong Webb Ltd stores all of its information within the European Economic Area (EEA). To deliver engagement objectives for some projects, it is occasionally necessary to share your personal information with trusted partners. Should any partner store data outside of the EEA, Armstrong Webb Ltd will inform the client prior to the transfer.

 

For employment applications:

Data received by Armstrong Webb Ltd is stored exclusively within the EEA. Please note if you apply for a role at Armstrong Webb Ltd through a third party such as LinkedIn or a recruiter, your data will be subject to the terms of the third party’s Privacy Policy before it is received by Armstrong Webb Ltd.

 

When sharing your personal data, we follow the below set of rules:

  • We only share the information required by the partner or third party to perform their specific service

  • We work closely with our partners and third parties to ensure your data is always properly protected

  • If we cease to conduct business with our partners or their parties, all your personal data held by them will be returned to Armstrong Webb Ltd, permanently erased or made anonymous

  • Have access to and receive a copy of your personal information stored by Armstrong Webb Ltd

  • Asking us to amend or delete your personal information

  • In this instance, your previous consent will stay valid for our previous use of your information and for communications sent prior to your request

  • Complaining to the Information Commissioner’s Office

 

How long do we keep your data?

 

For recipients of marketing material:

 

  • If you have opted to receive marketing material or any newsletters, we will keep sending you information until you send us a communication that requests that you no longer require the information.

For clients:

 

  • Personal details of individuals representing a company are classified as corporate contacts and retained for 10 years unless otherwise required in the engagement terms.

 

For employment applicants:

 

  • If you have applied to be an Associate at Armstrong Webb Ltd your data will be retained until you advise us in writing that you no longer which to be an Armstrong Webb Ltd Associate. 

  • There may be instances where we are required by law to retain information for longer than our default retention period, any legal requirement will always supersede our retention time.

 

 

Updating this privacy policy

 

If we change the way that we use your personal information, we’ll let you know in writing. If you do not agree to a change, you must let us know as soon as possible by contacting the Data Protection Officer. We may add, modify, or remove portions of this privacy policy when we believe it is appropriate to do so and will ensure that the date that the privacy policy was last updated is set out below. Please check this privacy policy from time to time to make sure you are happy with the way we are using your personal information.
